The Mike Morrison Foundation was recently started with the goal of providing a scholarship in Mikey's name.  As most of you know Mikey passed away suddenly in May of 2009.  For many of us Mikey was the most important person in our lives and he made everyone feel that they were the most important person in his life.  Mikey had a way of making everyone feel comfortable around him and it always felt like you could talk to Mike.  Mikey was a unique person, Always thinking of new ideas for movies and how he could make something good great.  As a storyteller he was the best around.  Nobody could tell a story like him.  He always had the funniest and most intersting stories to tell.  He always wanted to have these stories put into movies but sadly did not have the chance to do so.  This is why the MDM Foundation is starting a scholarship fund.  We believe Mikey would want to give a student the chance to tell their stories.  For many kids out there they do not have the money to go to schools or get movie equipment so they can do just that.  So with this fund all proceeds will go into a scholarship for high school and or college kids.  We hope MIkey's dreams can be realised by as many kids as possible through art and movies. Throughout the year we will be holding a number of events in order to raise funds for the foundation.  We will keep you posted on all events and thank you so much for contributing to help keep MIkeys name and dream alive.
